Who am I?

Hi Friends,

First of all a hearty welcome to you for being in my personal page where I post my stories, reviews and any other article that I feel I should be sharing with the world. My name is Sourav Biswas and presently I am residing in a city called Bangalore in Southern part of India. In case you have not heard of this city, please google the word “Bangalored” and you will know the purpose of this city and its contribution to the world society at large. Needless to say, I earn my bread and butter contributing for the same cause of the city Bangalore presently being employed by Cisco Systems.

I am pseudo Bengali by my nativity and having spent almost my entire life till date outside Kolkata, I am anything now but a Bengali. Still I feel strongly for Bengalis and their inclination towards the intellectual community. I’ve lived and studied in various locations in India and thus I had the privilege of being in contact with people from varied communities and learn from them.

I have social views that are liberal; political views confused, religious views profound and spiritual views…I really don’t care.

In case you are looking for a more appropriate insight into my personality, then it is little tricky a thing to describe as I’m not always entirely sure who I am from one moment to the next. But to be true, I want to have some of the below traits as I really value them.

1. I should have logical mindset for taking any decision along with the high emotional quotient that I already have.

2. Honesty is important to me and I absolutely hate lies. Its not that I do not lie but not otherwise if I would have done without it.

3. I always try to be there for my loved ones including friends and family whenever they need me, not sure how much am able to keep up to that.

4. I always believe that free mind is a place where you can harness your thoughts and emotions and I absolutely hate anything that is in the way of freedom of mind and individuals including rituals and religion.

Why am I blogging?

There are two reasons. Although am a software engineer, secretly (Which is no more a secret now🙂) I believe I am more suited for any creative profession rather than just being in IT industry. What better could be to hit the bull’s eye as a writer? This is just an attempt to make me understand my own potentials, whatever it is…good or bad.

Secondly, although quite late but now I believe in the power of net and the wide audience that it can gather for you. It’s nice to jot down the ideas bubbling up inside and present to such a wide audience for open criticism.
